Lisanne Grotz is an independent culture manager and production manager. She was born in Berlin in 1985 and grew up in Freiburg (Brsg). She completed a German/French Bachelor's degree in culture studies and literary studies at the University of Regensburg and at Blaise-Pascal University in Clermont-Ferrand, France, followed by a Master's degree in culture management & cultural tourism at Viadrina University in Frankfurt/Oder. During her studies, she collected her first experiences in project manager and production while working projects in the fields of theater, culture manager and tourism. After receiving her degree in 2013, she ran the marketing department of the Circus Hotel in Berlin until the beginning of 2014. She has worked as an independent culture manager and production manager since then, including for Fête de la Musique in Berlin, the performance group bigNOTWENDIGKEIT, the children's and youth theater festival Augenblick mal! as well as the Submerge festival. She also worked as the organization manager for the 2014 and 2015 Industry Get-Togethers of the Independent Performing Arts Community and was the office manager of the Performing Arts Program from 2016 until the beginning of 2018. She has been responsible for the project management and administration for the area of Information, Consultation and Qualification of the Performing Arts Program since February 2018.
