Swetlana Gorich was born in Kazakhstan in 1985. She studied cultrual studies (B.A.) at the European University in Frankfurt (Oder) and cultural communication (M.A) in Hildesheim. She collected her first experiences working in the field of cultural as an assistant to the artistic department at the Kleist Forum in Frankfurt (Oder). During the Kliest-Festtage festival in Frankfurt (Oder), she was responsible for the organization and realization of Vertrau mir! – Blindes Vertrauen. Eine Blindenstadtführung (Trust Me! – Blind Trust, A Blind City Tour) (2011) and grünes Häuschen für Kleist – ein participatives Stadtprojekt und Garteninstallation (A Green House for Kleist - a Participatory City Project and Garden Installation) (2012).Since 2012, she worked on various projects as a translator and assistant, including assisting in the field of dance communication for the project MOTS_continue for the company Fredeweß. In 2014, she served as an intern on the theater production Volksrepublik Volkswagen. China Bilder Import (The People’s Republic of Volkswagen. China Image Import) by Stefan Kaegi (Rimini Protokoll) at Niedersächsischen Staatstheater Hannover. She joined the Performing Arts Program as a member of the Audience Generation and Communication team in June 2016.
