Information Center

Support, Advice and Know-How for the Independent Performing Arts Community.

Do you have an idea for an outstanding art project in your head and are looking for help in putting together your funding application? Are you in the middle of the production process and need advice? Are you looking for answers to questions about taxes, legal issues and health insurance? Are you looking for support with your communication strategy or for the space to research the intersection between art and digitalization?

Our Information Center helps and supports members of the independent performing arts community through a diverse offering of individual advisement sessions, information events, series of seminars and workshops with experts from a wide range of areas.

  • We provide individual, tailor-made answers to questions that can arise during the various stages of a production process: preparing applications, financing and funding, project development, legal forms, marketing, accounting rules for public funds.
  • We offer culture makers an orientation regarding the independent venues for dance, theater and performance as well as an overview of Berlin's diverse independent performing arts community.
  • We develop and organize workshop formats and seminars both for newcomers to the community as well as for professionals with many years of experience.

Dance and theater makers can exchange experiences, network and find new impulses for their work in public discussion forums.

The events are free of charge for members of the independent performing arts community with a registered address in Berlin.
