Schedule of Events

The independent performing arts community can be described as a testing grounds for alternative forms of social organization, especially for forms of collaboration beyond the existing, standardized and disciplinary structures. Perhaps it should become just as second nature to investigate societal changes as it is to discuss working methods within the independent performing arts community in order to deal with the challenges of our times. In order to do so, exchange, support and allies are absolutely necessary.

What role do we as a community and as individuals within the performing arts want to take on in order to strengthen sustainable and comprehensive solidarity? How can we develop new narratives of the future and (what) do we want to contribute to the formation of social utopias? How solidary are our own working structures and institutions? What visions from experts in other disciplines can we use productively for our structures - and vice versa? How can we be successful in working with each other sustainably and at eye level? How can trust function as the foundation of our systems?

The 2019 Industry Get-Together will bring together key players from a variety of disciplines and fields who dedicate themselves for a more just and open future on a global level. You are warmly invited to discuss, work together, mutually reflect, form alliances, exchange questions and challenge answers.
