Rehearsal Space Café 2020
In 2020, the Rehearsal Space Café will become the Stammtisch, or regulars' table, for space providers throughout the city, providing an opportunity to converse with colleagues about the everyday joys and burdens of "offering space", learning about which solutions others have developed deal with identical problems, to network and to discuss the occupancy rate and prices. Or, to be brief, to discuss everything that concerns you in a pleasant round of like-minded colleagues.
Each event will be dedicated to a specific topic that, when necessary, will be examined more deeply by invited experts.
Rehearsal Space Café on the Sustainable Operation of Rehearsal Spaces
March 16, 2020, 10:30 am to 13:30 pm
Location: Vierte Welt, Adalbertstraße 4, 10999 Berlin
Experts: Lyam Bittar (editor with a common good balance), Urte Töpfer (certified common good adviser)
Smaller structures often think that sustainability is a luxury that they cannot afford, even if all participants place a high value upon it. In conversation with Urte Töpfer and Lyam Bittar, we will examine the steps that small organizations can take in order to shape their work from the standpoints of social and ecological sustainability. In doing so, they will present the idea of the Common Good Economy. The Common Good Economy sees itself as an open-ended, participatory and locally growing process with a global reach and provides tools and advisement sessions for individuals and companies in order to realize its core idea: an economic system built upon values supporting the common good.
Please register to attend by sending an email to: redaktion(at)proberaumplattform-berlin.de with the name of your space(s) and a link to your website or your presence on the Berlin Rehearsal Space Platform.
