Agitprop

Today, agitprop presents – as opposed to the pragmatic agendas of parties – utopian ideas that were collected on-site over the course of research with people and uses the tool of theater to embody and specifically implement these utopian ideas. Our research poses two central questions: what are the fears, concerns and needs of people who are not reached by theater? What dreams and utopias do they have? The theater collective Die Happy Few shares the experiences they have collected over the course of their updating and production of agitprop theater. The workshop initiates a confrontation with theory and a specific performer exercise – in the form and language of agitprop theater. The goal of the workshop is to collectively develop a 15-minute piece of agitprop theater.
