The Mentoring Program supports newcomers to the independent performing arts community in Berlin. Each year, 10 to 15 mentees benefit from the experience of their mentors. During the course of the program, which lasts 8 to 18 months, the mentees receive intensive support in regular one-on-one meetings.

In addition up to three seminars on topics with specific points of focus such as concept and strategy planning, the financing of projects, submitting funding application or public relations also take place. Regular networking meetings as well as get-togethers allow a lively exchange within the respective Group to take place as well as for networking with alumni/ae and additional participants. The mentees also receive access to the additional opportunities provided by the Berlin Performing Arts Program and to a qualitative valuable and open network for the independent performing arts community.

We regularly offer events for the qualification of experts for the mentors, in which thematic exchanges as well as networking with colleagues are supported and typical questions and challenges regarding mentoring, advising and instructing can be explored together.
