How to be an Ally? - A Workshop on Solidarity in Theater

In the workshop, the participants develop strategies in a playful manner to support each other within theater structures that have been hierarchical to date. How do I defend myself against sexual assault? How can I support colleagues who are treated in racist ways? How can I criticize without placing my career in jeopardy? The goal of the workshop is to unite theater makers as well as to create and use new forms of solidarity in the working world of theater. The workshop is intended for all theater makers who wish to dedicate themselves to achieving a change in behavior in the theater world. Utilizing an intersectional approach, the positions that are spoken from will be reflected. In doing so, the readiness of the participants to come to terms with their own privilege is a mandatory requirement for participation.
