Judgements About Theater!? – Historical and Current Determinations of a Concept of Quality in the Performing Arts

Which traditional notions of good or bad art are our contemporary assessment criteria based on, or what is it that we continuously distance ourselves from in the independent performing arts community? In a keynote presentations, Tucké Royal will look at the historical development of a concept of quality in the performing arts that still influences us today in order to examine it and then make the attempt to give it a current positioning.
