Separate Stages – Separate Feelings?
Separate Stages – Separate Feelings?
In the first part of the symposium, the theater scholar Wolf-Dieter Ernst, amongst others, will introduce and question his considerations about the "affective actor" from a theater history standpoint: which affects do we want to see onstage today and what can they tell us about our situation in an historical comparison? The dance scholar Gerko Egert will use the examples of Meg Stuart and Philipp Gehmacher to explore the relationship between affect and movement, between the two dancers as well as between the stage and the audience. In addition, Doris Kolesch and Kirsten Maar from the Free University of Berlin have been invited to enrich the panel with their contributions and inspire the discussion.
