Separate Stages – Separate Feelings?

“How does the introduction of VR technologies change the experiences of isolation and/or collectivity?” This is not only a burning question that one can pose about the work of the Swedish duo Bombina Bombast (Emma Bexell and Stefan Stanisic) as well as the scenography and VR artist Winnie Christiansen for the project trix. Both artist collectives are experimenting with the combination of immersive theater and VR technologies. The theater scholar Karina Rocktäschel, specialized in immersive theater formats and post-humanism discourse, will speak with them on the topic of “Technologies of Isolation”.
