The Series - Reciprocities Between Serial Formats and Serial Narratives on Television and on Stage

Television series are no longer marked by the logic of fixed broadcast times; instead, they are now produced for individually consuming, binging viewers. This has fundamentally changed their dramaturgical structures. 

Theater, dance and performance are increasingly adopting serial formats and narratives which, however, always remain temporarily accessible in terms of space and time. 

This panel discussion will explore the parallels and reciprocities between both developments as well as the developments that we can expect in the future.
