Solidary Social Security for Production Managers. Paths & Barriers.

If we are going to critically question structures, we must also urgently discuss those who are not even taken into consideration within these structures. A group of independent producers working in the independent performing arts brings concerns from the perspective of production managers to the table. Why is this professional field not deemed suitable for the Künstlersozialkasse (the German public social insurance fund for artists) and what do opportunities for a retirement pension look like for them? During the Industry Get-Together, a place for exchanges about the precarious conditions of an independent performing arts community that searches for strategies over the course of shared exchanges will be opened.
