Thomas Renz: Non-Visitor Research

Thomas Renz conducts his research at the Institute for Cultural Policy of the University of Hildesheim. The central object of his research is the audience, but not necessarily the audience that goes to theater anyway, but instead the audience that does not go to theater. And why don’t they go there? What barriers prevent people from visiting a theater? And what can theater makers do in order to tear down these barriers? Thomas Renz has found answers to these questions in his research and will present them during this year’s Industry Get-Together.
