Networking Conference Breakdown - Digitale Communities der Freien Szene (Digital Communities of the Independent Performing Arts)

The programming series BREAKDOWN allows the transfer of digital working methods between artists to be intensified and the visibility and networking of artists amongst each other to be strengthened. The format of the media and performance group OutOfTheBox is intended for interdisciplinary artists within the independent performing arts community who want to intensely engage with (post) digital practices in their artistic work such as creative coding, software development, interaction design, physical computing, XR design, game design and much, much more. Practice-oriented networking events offer an invitation to share needs, challenges and ideas for working at the interface of theater and digitalism and to play a role in including new communities within the greater independent (post) digital community. The 2022 Industry Get-Together offers space for a gathering that adds an additional event to the networking conference.

This project is financed by Fonds Darstellende Künste as part of NEUSTART KULTUR using funds from the German Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
