Components of an Inclusive Cultural Practice

This workshop will provide a basic sensitivity to the topic of disability and give you an overview of different tools for achieving accessibility in cultural work. While doing so, we will take a brief excursion to disability studies, talk  about ableism and take a look at the foundations of the disability rights movement. In the second part, we will discuss how accessibility can be practically realized in cultural work and, using case studies from artistic production, practice realizing individual aspects in an exemplary manner.
