Getting Started in the Independent Performing Arts Community – An Event That Takes Place in English (Part 1/3)

Workshop with Ilona Schaal (the programming director of Schaubühne Lindenfels)

This workshop is open for everyone who interested in beginning to work within the independent performing arts community but does not have sufficient background information and thus feels uncertain as to how to approach getting started and working independently. This workshop will provide an initial overview regarding the financial, organizations and institutional structure of the community within Berlin and Germany and will concentrate on specific facts: what do I absolutely have to know if I want to work within the independent performing arts? Where can I apply for funding for my project? What basic legal knowledge do I need to know?
On three different dates, Ilona Schaal from Schaubühne Lindenfels will share her many years of experience as production manager and director of programming with English-speaking newcomers to the independent performing arts community.

In order to attend, please send an email by September 23, 2020, at the latest, to: beratung(at)pap-berlin.de.

Dates: September 29, October 6, October 13, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Language: English
Access: This event will take place online, access to it will be provided upon registration.
