Getting started as a transnational artist

Artists who are new to the independent performing arts community in Berlin and in Germany face a complex set of questions – we will address some of them in this networking event: How can transnational artists establish themselves in the independent performing arts community? How can you find  as well as create the tools which are essential to start working on the artistic projects? How do you navigate the challenges of freelance work and bureaucracy? How do you position yourself as an artist in the independent performing arts community? Together with the host Urszula Heuwinkel, you will have a chance to create your own navigation system through the Berlin’s independent performing arts community.
 
Artyści, którzy dopiero co wkraczają na berlińską i niemiecką scenę niezależną, stają przed szeregiem skomplikowanych pytań – kilka z nich omówimy w trakcie tego warsztatu: Jak artyści transgraniczni mogą się ugruntować na scenie niezależnej? Jak znaleźć oraz jak stworzyć narzędzia niezbędne do rozpoczęcia pracy nad projektami artystycznymi? Jak poradzić sobie z wyzwaniami związanymi z pracą na zlecenie i biurokracją? Jak znaleźć swoje miejsce jako artysta w społeczności niezależnych twórców? Wspólnie z prowadzącą, Urszulą Heuwinkel, będziecie mieli okazję stworzyć własny system nawigacji po berlińskiej scenie niezależnej.
