[Here Comes An Application]
[Here Comes An Application]
Two-Day Workshop: June 15 and 16, always from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
This workshop is intended for artists and culture makers who would like to apply for the coming Einstiegs- und Einzelprojektförderung (Early Career Funding and Individual Project Funding) programs offered by Berlin’s Senate Department for Culture and Community.
On day 1, we will dedicate ourselves to concepts and project descriptions. What should you bear in mind when you describe a project in writing so that a jury can understand it and be persuaded to fund the project? This part of the workshop using theory, the exchange of experiences and practical writing exercises to provide deeper insight into the writing of project ideas – from establishing a structure of the contents to text tools and questions of style to specific writing help.
Using examples brought by the participants, we will put budgets under the microscope on day 2: how do I translate my project idea for the application that has been elaborated in terms of content into numbers? How do I calculate figures properly? Alongside the realistic estimation of personnel and material costs, we will also look at the new minimum fee recommendation, fair budgeting, KSK fees, the rights of authors, pre-tax deductions and much more.
Anyone who still has energy after this can present their project on June 23 during the workshop Pitch your Project! to give their application a final polish.
In German spoken language, it is possible to ask questions and make comments using English spoken language
