How do things work on a jury?

We encounter juries everywhere: regardless of whether we are talking about prizes, grants or funding programs. Nearly everything is decided by juries in Germany and in other countries. How do juries actually work? Do they work the same in all programs or are there differences? What systems exist and what details of applications are examined with particular scrutiny? Fatima Çalışkan will provide an (individual) perspective on how juries works in this information event. She has been a member of various juries herself, most recently for #takepart in the funding program #takethat from Fonds Darstellende Künste.
