How To: Work Internationally – Challenges in the Communication and Planning of Transnational Theater Productions

With Miriam Coretta Schulte (Theater Maker, Performer)

Are you planning to work across national borders and do you have questions about financing, visas and other bureaucratic challenges? Would you like to avoid possible misunderstandings and conflicts in the communication and collaboration with international partners? Are you aware of structural differences between the different production partners and would like to proactively take these into consideration in the project planning?

This workshop invites the participants to reflect upon their own positioning, privileges and responsibility within the global cultural sector. Together, we will explore production and distribution strategies that can be used to develop and establish a solidary, well-reflected and sustainable international theater practice.  The workshop is intended for newcomers as well as experienced members of the community who are establishing their transnational artistic partnerships.

In English spoken language, it is possible to ask questions and make comments using German, French and Arabic spoken language
