Independent performing arts tour in Wedding & network meeting for dance professionals

We are offering trade visitors to Tanz im August 2024 a tour of the independent performing arts in Wedding. The tour starts at 10 a.m. at the CFB, then continues to the Wiesenburg, and finally ends at the Uferstudios, an important venue for Berlin's independent dance scene. The partners based at the Uferstudios – ada Studio and Bühne für Zeitgenössischen Tanz, Hochschulübergreifendes Zentrum Tanz, Tanzbüro Berlin, Tanzfabrik Berlin Bühne and Uferstudios –, invite you to an open network exchange for dance actors over snacks and drinks on their premises.

This event takes place in cooperation between the partners of Uferstudios, Tanz im August / HAU Hebbel am Ufer, ZTB e.V. and Performing Arts Program Berlin.

Accessibility

The tour lasts approximately 2 hours, followed by a one-hour networking session. The routes between the venues are covered on foot and by public transport. There will be limited time for breaks.

Due to renovation work, there is currently no step-free access to Tanzhalle Wiesenburg. The two other venues (CFB and Uferstudios) are accessible barrier-free.
