Internal Crisis Management for Attacks from Right-Wing Groups
Internal Crisis Management for Attacks from Right-Wing Groups
This workshop provides a space for people who have experienced attacks or could potentially experience attacks from right-wing and extreme right-wing groups. The central focus is placed on the discussion of internal crisis management in such situations and practicing specific strategies for action: how can we hold together effectively in our working contexts when the pressure from the outside grows stronger? How can we take care of each other and ourselves as best as possible in stressful situations? What helps to move beyond the physical and emotional state of alarm? What scopes of action do we have? What can be empowering?
In this workshop, examples of cases of right-wing attacks on projects of the independent performing arts and their effects will be discussed and collected, which can be helpful for groups in such situations. Strategies for self-care and group-care will be discussed and practiced and we will take a look at legal questions.
In addition, Miriam Coretta Schulte (theater producer and holder of a B.A. in law) will share her perspectives on the potential and limitations of transformative justice.
In German spoken language, it is possible to ask questions and make comments using English spoken language
