Making Art Outside of the Funding Application Culture

A seeming bazillion unrealized concepts are dormant in our mind and clogging up our hard drives because funding applications were not submitted or were rejected. How could projects be realized despite this? What other options exist besides apply for public funding? Are sponsoring, patronage and crowdfunding adequate alternatives? What new systems could we create and what may already exist?
The Hamburg-based choreographer Antje Pfundtner will present her thoughts on "sub-societies" and we will exchange our experiences and ideas in an open space session afterward.
