Making Funding Applications – A Focus on Text

Are you finding yourself on the home stretch getting your application ready for the coming application deadlines of the Einstiegs- und Einzelprojektförderung (Early Career Funding and Individual Project Funding) funding programs offered by Berlin’s Senate Department for Culture and Community? Would you like to check over your concepts and application texts again, revise them and, possibly, do them over completely and make sure that they are elegant, crystal clear and ready for the jury? Fantastic!

This workshop focuses on formulating your own ideas and concepts for a balanced funding application text: What can I do so that my text is able to be understood and is appealing to the jury? How do the artistic ideas become precise and clear? How does the text have to be structured and does such a thing as “application language” actually even exist?

The participants are asked to bring a specific project with them for which they would like to submit a funding application this June.
