Open Call: Shared Trade Fair Stand at the INTHEGA Theatermarkt 2025 in Bielefeld

The Interessengemeinschaft der Städte mit Theatergastspielen e. V. (the Association of the Interest Group of Cities with Theatrical Guest Performances, or INTHEGA) hosts the annual INTHEGA Theatermarkt in Bielefeld, the leading trade fair for German-speaking touring theater. INTHEGA's members include cities, municipalities, associations, and other institutions responsible for municipal cultural programs, which rely on offerings from guest performance producers and providers.

A prerequisite for taking part is a long history of professional work within the independent performing arts and a primary residence in Berlin. In addition, each participant must have at least one production that has already premiered and is capable of being toured that can be presented at the trade fair with corresponding print and possibly video trailer material.

We would like to give as many artists as possible the opportunity to take part. We do, however, reserve the right to make a selection on the basis of the promotional material provided in the event that there are more applicants than there is space. In any event, we ask the registered groups to please send only one representative to Bielefeld.

Anyone who would like to take part is asked to please send a binding application including links with informative digital promotional material (trailer, websites, flyers in PDF form, et cetera, and please send large files in the form of a link to download the files) with the subject “INTHEGA 2025” by March 31, 2025 to: catherine.launay [at] pap-berlin.de.
