Planning and Setting Up Digital Stage Projections
Planning and Setting Up Digital Stage Projections
April 23 and 24, respectively from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Spaces in performances are shaped and professionally designed for a variety of reasons – be they a small budget, a flexible touring option or other reasons. In the workshop, the video technician Julia Cremers will provide an introduction to the practial aspects of professional digital projections: this covers everything from the technical basic knowledge to the set-up, the time required and the budgeting that results from this. As a best practice example, the software Isadora will be presented, which can be used with simple means to control the spectrum of simple or complex multichannel projects up to and including projects on 3D surfaces on stages or in urban space. This workshop will present the possibilities and communicate the knowledge necessary in order to be able to communicate well with video designers and stage technicians when working on projects as well as to be able to jump into “operating” the projections yourself.
In English spoken language, it is possible to ask questions and make comments using Dutch and German spoken language
