Production Management for Do-It-Yourselfers

Freelance artists and culture makers often ended up taking on the responsibility for organization, financing and production. Others are looking to professionalize themselves precisely within these areas. But what does production management actually mean, specifically?

In this series of seminars, we will become acquainted with the tasks, roles and responsibilities – from the preliminary planning all the way to the final accounting. On the basis of the example of a sample production, we will move through all of the phases and demonstrate how to confidently manage public funding allocations and creatively work within the legal regulations.

This series of seminars is intended for freelance artists, groups and culture makers who have already realized at least one publicly funded project and/or have worked on one and who have already acquired in-depth knowledge of the range of tasks associated with “production management”.

A series of seminars with six mandatory dates.
