Public Funding Law – Paths Through the Jungle

With Harriet Lesch (independent producer)

The funding approval has arrived! But how do things move on from there? We are all know the terms “necessary, economic and frugal”, but what do they really mean? Why is there a regulation on sub-threshold procurement, or what is an early project start? What is important in the German Federal Travel Expenses law for those of us working with cultural funding, which receipts do I have to collect, and how do I properly justify them?

In the workshop, we will not work on specific accounting tasks, but instead clarify basic terms and rules for the use of public funds, shed some light on these from practical experiences and in this way find paths together through the allegedly impenetrable jungle of bureaucracy.

This event is intended for professional production managers and culture managers who have already managed larger projects and who would like to deepen their knowledge.
