A Round of Discussion with Experts 2/2019: The New Features of the GDPR / DSGVO – An Exchange of Experiences and Helpful Tips

1.5 years of the GDPR, the General Data Protection Regulation, what has it brought us? What were and are the risks? What are the opportunities?
Marco Tessendorf provides an overview of the changes in data protection legislation introduced with the GDPR. He will speak about new features of written warnings, provide information about jurisprudence and introduce the supervisory authorities. Amongst others, he will focus on the following questions: What is the practical relevance of information on employees? How does one deal with the information obligations? What should be included in a privacy statement? How does this shape work with service providers?
Following input from Marco Tessendorf, space will be provided for individual questions and presentations of problems.

All material generated from the questions discussed, recognizable problems and needs of the independent performing arts community will be incorporated within an information document that will be made available to all members of the community in the future.
