Trade Fair Stand at the Berliner Freiwilligenbörse (the Berlin Volunteer Fair) – A Call for Opportunities for Voluntary and Honoray Dedication in the Independent Performing Arts Community

We invite the operators of Berlin’s performance venues and production locations to send us opportunities for voluntary and honorary engagement in their structures. We would like to present these to interested visitors as offer from Berlin’s independent performing arts community on May 24, 2025 at the 18th Berliner Freiwilligenbörse (the Berin Volunteer Fair).

Opportunities could be, for example, serving on the board, the shared care of community gardens that are a part of the theater or serving on the audience council. We also want to take the provision of necessary resources for voluntary and honorary engagement into consideration, such as the provision of spaces in theater for voluntary initiatives that already exist.

What is the Berliner Freiwilligenbörse and why is it important to take part in it?

The Freiwilligenbörse, organized by the Landesfreiwilligenagentur Berlin e.V., allows visitors to inform themselves about opportunities for social engagement at over 100 stands in and around the Rotes Rathaus in fields including education, culture or social affairs. This makes the Freiwilligenbörse an important place for civil society networking in Berlin.

We look forward to representing Berlin’s independent performing arts community there and communicating specific opportunities and/or offerings for engagement in your performance venues and production locations to interested people.

Please send your offers by April 18, 2025, to Linus Lutz: linus.lutz [at] pap-berlin.de
