Submitting Funding Applications – A Focus on Budgets

Are you finding yourself on the home stretch getting your application ready for the coming application deadlines of the Einstiegs- und Einzelprojektförderung (Early Career Funding and Individual Project Funding) funding programs offered by Berlin’s Senate Department for Culture and Community? Would you like to check over your budgets again, revise them and, possibly, do them over completely and make sure that they are elegant, crystal clear and ready for the jury? Fantastic!

The budgeting of a project is an essential part of planning a production and submitting an application for funding. With this in mind, this workshop is all about the budget: how do I properly estimate a fee, what rules do I have to keep in mind and what fees do I need to calculate? What additional cost factors do I need to keep an eye on?

The participants are kindly asked to bring a specific project with them that they would like to submit a funding application for this June, along with the Excel file template provided by the funding institution for the budget.
