Tactics for Self-Empowerment in Artistic Professions

This workshop will take place on two consecutive days:
June 26 and 27, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

It is not seldom that artists are confronted with power dynamics that work against them in open or hidden way and make their artistic work more difficult. In this workshop, the participants will examine a variety of power dynamics in the creative professionals and explore feminist discourses for self-empowerment against systems that are often patriarchal and hierarchically structured. Using an interactive approach, the participants will conduct research into opportunities for healing and self-care for a creative and healthy further development in their profession. In addition, they will develop guidelines and applicable strategies that will support and strengthen them in the future in processes of self-empowerment.

In English spoken language, it is possible to ask questions and make comments using Arabic spoken language and French spoken language. This event is intended exclusively for FLINTA* persons
