Gob Squad have been working collaboratively, without a director, for 25 years. Artistic and organisational decisions are made by consensus and the workload is shared amongst the group (everything from unloading the van, to writing funding applications, to rehearsing and performing). How do they do it? How are they still able to work together, and be friends, after all these years?
In this workshop, two members of the collective introduce some of the tools they have developed over the years for:
- making collective decisions
- deciding the rates of pay
- running a non-hierarchical organisation
- resolving conflicts
The working language will be English!
