Working Internationally – What Do I Have To Keep In Mind?

Guest performances or other artistic activities outside of Germany are increasingly becoming the norm. What administrative regulations have to be kept in mind when working in other countries? In this seminar, it will be explained how submitting an invoice takes place within an international context, what needs to be kept in mind regarding value-added tax, input tax, et cetera and how one coordinates the social insurance in Europe and (self-) delegation with an A1 certificate. In addition, the workshop will deal with rights of residency in countries outside of the EU as well as with custom law with a focus on the application for “carnets”. The workshop is intended for artists who live in Germany and who are planning projects that will take place outside of Germany.
