Working in Transnational Teams and Contexts
Working in Transnational Teams and Contexts
Two-Day Workshop: March 4 and 5, always from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
What does it mean to work collectively in teams that come from different cultures, languages and visions of the world? What do we need to understand in order to make it an enriching experience? How can cultural and creative justice exist there? How to strategically design a project in a transnational style that comes out of the identities and practices of the team? And - how to avoid misunderstandings and famous traps that are initiated by a white-supremacist economic system?
The workshop attempts to examine models of projects and managements that deal with transnational groups in order to understand why there is mostly issues and behavioral clashes that interfere with the potential creative collaboration. The workshop reflects on the experiences shared by the participants and employs critical discourse to dismantle prejudice and bias that often get in the way by a hierarchal system that still dominates artistic processes and expected outcomes.
