Nationales Performance Netz (NPN)

The Nationale Performance Netz (National Performance Network) is a funding program. The goal is to support the exchange and distribution of contemporary dance and theater within Germany as well as to create incentives for a stronger (inter)national rotation of existing and new productions.

Within the scope of the NPN-Gastspielförderung Tanz and the NPN-Gastspielförderung Theater (NPN guest performance funding for dance and NPN guest performance funding for theater) programs, guest performances of contemporary dance and theater productions within Germany can be funded. With the NPN-Impulsförderung Tanz & Theater (NPN guest performance impulse funding dance & theater), new cooperations between different German federal states are intended to be created that secure development potentials in the areas and regions named above and enable new “tangents” of cooperation. The NPN-Koproduktionsförderung Tanz (NPN coproduction funding dance) program and the NPN-Gastspielförderung Tanz International (NPN guest performance funding dance international) program are intended to strengthen the exchange between artists living in Germany and international presenters.
