Central Point of Contact

Central Point of Contact

Anyone looking to enter into contact with Berlin’s independent performing arts community has come to exactly the right place with us: the Central Point of Contact of the Berlin Performing Arts Program offers in-depth knowledge about Berlin’s independent artists, performance venues as well as their current productions and schedules of programming.

Our Performing Arts Guide provides a comprehensive overview – both as an always up-to-date online platform as well as an annually updated print publication. The various festivals, industry events and initiatives of the community are presented comprehensively within it and a list of performance venues provides an easy orientation to the community.

We organize professional visits within Berlin’s cultural landscape for external visitors both of our own initiative and upon request: formats such as tours of performance venues or discussions are frequently offered concurrent to larger events as Theatertreffen, the Berlin Performing Arts Festival or the Industry Get-Together of the Independent Performing Arts Community and are also offered in cooperation with other institutions such as the Goethe-Institut or Dachverband Tanz Deutschland. We also hold network meetings on specific topics and promote exchanges and transfers of knowledge.

Last but certainly not least, we are also available at any time for individual questions and are very happy to help make specific contacts to members of Berlin’s independent performing arts community.

We look forward to your emails!

If we have failed to include a performance venue or festival in our Performing Arts Guide, we would be very grateful if you could take a moment and let us know.
