For Industry Professionals
For Industry Professionals
Our services for industry professionals facilitate intensive exchanges between international experts and Berlin-based members of the independent performing arts community. In addition to venue tours through Berlin’s diverse cultural landscape, we invite curators to Berlin festivals and organize networking events and roundtable discussions. These provide opportunities for receiving valuable feedback, learning from one another, and building long-term partnerships. In this way, we foster the exchange and transfer of knowledge between professional members and expert guests from the independent performing arts, which is invaluable for both artistic and organizational development.
We participate in national and international industry gatherings and represent Berlin’s independent arts community at various festivals. Through our extensive network of experts, we regularly collaborate with a variety of venues, festivals, initiatives, and institutions, including...
- IETM – International network for contemporary performing arts, one of the oldest and largest international cultural networks in the independent performing arts.
- produktionsbande, a network that strengthens the cross-regional transfer of knowledge in the independent performing arts.
- FESTIVALFRIENDS is a network of currently twelve independent performing arts festivals in Germany, fostering connections between artists and their productions across regions.
- Duna Part, a Hungarian festival showcasing the works of local artists to an international audience.
Another important part of our services is the Performing Arts Guide. It provides a comprehensive overview of venues, festivals, initiatives, and get-togethers in Berlin's independent performing arts community. As both a constantly updated online platform and an annual publication, the guide serves as a valuable resource for industry professionals both at home and abroad, as well as for local members in the independent performing arts community.
