How To: Produce in a Manner that is Fair to Parents
How To: Produce in a Manner that is Fair to Parents
How can you produce in a manner that is fair to parents? What prerequisites have to be achieved in order to do so? How can people with care obligations advocate for their specific working (im)possibilities? Elisa Müller will provide a preview of the Guidelines for Dealing with Care Responsibility in the Independent Performing Arts. These guidelines are currently being drafted together with Emilia de Fries on behalf of the NRW Landesbüro Freie Darstellende Künste, the State Office for the Independent Performing Arts in North Rhine-Westphalia and in collaboration with the BFDK, the German Federal Association for the Independent Performing Arts. They will formulate self-obligations for producing institutions and artists (or artist groups) as well as cultural policy recommendations for actions by funding institutions and political decision makers. This How To provides an opportunity to take these guidelines and their implementation within your own practice into consideration as well as to formulate needs based upon your own respective experiences.
