Money Anxiety and alternative Pension Schemes
Money Anxiety and alternative Pension Schemes
May 19 and 20, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Money is not an easy topic, especially when it is scarce: How can we as cultural actors do something for our finances and retirement despite having little income? How we talk about money? How do we cope with the uneasiness and worries about money? What kind of “money mindset” helps us to do something concrete for our finances? In this workshop, we address pragmatic and emotional questions about money and assets. We discuss possible steps towards alternative forms of retirement and financial education and learn to gain financial insight in 7 steps. In times of financial uncertainty, cuts in cultural budgets and difficult planning, sorting out your own finances and sharing knowledge provides strength and orientation: Hence, the workshop opens up a space for exchange of skills and aims particularly at people with little or no prior knowledge of finances and assets, with fears and concrete barriers regarding money and their own finances.
Please note: Alternative forms of pension schemes will be discussed, however, no official German pension insurance topics like e. g. pension points (“Rentepunkte”). No prior knowledge is required, financial discomfort is sufficient.
In English spoken language, it is possible to ask questions and make comments using German spoken language
