XR meets AI – Create your Digital Twin and connect it with a Large Language Model (LLM) in Unity *
Imagine that you are communicating in real time with your digital twin – in a virtual 3D world like virtual reality, for example. This IUNO workshop will show you how things work! We will start with a theoretical introduction in order to create a digital twin of ourselves and connect it with a large language model (like ChatGPT) in the software Unity. In this workshop, we will use plugins that do not require any programming knowledge in order to achieve a basic understanding for setting up socially interactive agents in extended reality environments.
In order to prepare, please use IUNO Tutorial #01 to install the software Unity free of charge on your own laptop, open the software once at home and bring your computer to the workshop with you. If you have any problems installing or opening the software, we are happy to help – just send us an email by July 15 to hi-iuno [at] htw-berlin.de (hi-iuno[at]htw-berlin[dot]de).
Initial knowledge of Unity, e.g. from the workshop XR Development with Unity on July 16 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm is beneficial, but not required.
