Long Night of Advisement

Are you looking to once again let yourself be advised on a burning topic, exchange experiences with colleagues and receive some compact knowledge over the course of a short workshop? Hey, how about getting all of that done on the same evening? Sounds good? Then please accept our hearty invitation to attend our very first Long Night of Advisement!

In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to attend one of three short worshops. During the advisement sessions, we also invite you to take part in our Meet & Greet in the bar from 6:00 to 11:00 pm: while sharing drinks and snacks, we look forward to getting to know each other and seeing each other again!

The advisement sessions can take place in German, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Korean spoken language; the How To's take place in German or English spoken language.

How do you build an artistic strategy in Berlin’s Freie Szene? How do you structure your projects, navigate funding opportunities, and communicate your artistic practice within the city’s unique cultural landscape?

This format provides insight and practical tools to help you plan effectively, understand the funding system, and articulate your work clearly. We'll explore strategies for sustainable collaborations, focusing on building long-term partnerships and integrating into both local and global networks.

Workshop

With Anne Hoffmann (actor, theater maker, mediator, coach)

Collective work in flat hierarchies is often marked by complex roles and multiple functions. How is good work possible in such constellations? How do you establish an honest, appreciative and constructive communication and feedback structure? How do you clearly define areas of responsibilities and which individuals needs should preferably be communicated right at the beginning? How can conflicts be avoided, deescalated and, if there is an issue, be resolved amicably? In this workshop, tools for dealing with conflicts with a solution-oriented approach will be provided and individual questions dealing with the specific challenges of your team structure will be answered.

In German spoken language, it is possible to ask questions and make comments using English spoken language.
