The Qualification of Experts

The Qualification of Experts

The advisement and qualification opportunities provided by the Berlin Performing Arts Program are fully dependent upon the knowledge and practical experience of its experts. We offer special events and qualification formats for instructors, advisers and mentors in order to support them in their activities and ensure that we continuously further develop the opportunities offered to the community. In doing so, the goal is to update comprehensive and relevant knowledge and to deepen it as well as to become acquainted with methods for the transfer of knowledge and to refine them. In addition, competencies that are relevant to advisement are communicated which are useful for the structuring of the qualification offers and for passing on practical knowledge.

As experts from a wide variety of backgrounds encounter each other in our formats, networking is something that is especially important to us. We very happily use the principles of peer-to-peer learning in order to deepen our knowledge of the community together and to expand our collective perspectives. In this sense, we also regularly invite former instructors, advisers and mentors from the information centers in other disciplines working within the greater independent arts community in Berlin.
