International & Nationwide
Networking and visibility are essential for the success of artists and initiatives in the independent performing arts. As a program supporting the independent performing arts community, we work to raise the profile of members, initiatives, and organizations of Berlin’s independent arts community, both nationally and internationally.
We offer a wide range of services to facilitate exchange between Berlin-based artists and the international independent arts - from delegation trips and trade fair visits to professional visitor programs. Many of our initiatives are developed in cooperation with other organizations, such as the "Goethe-Institut", "Dachverband Tanz Deutschland", and the network "produktionsbande".
If you are looking to connect with Berlin’s independent performing arts community, you’ve come to the right place. We invite all interested parties to join our network and take advantage of the diverse services we offer. belen.marinato [at] pap-berlin.de (Belén Marinato) and catherine.launay [at] pap-berlin.de (Catherine Launay) look forward to hearing from you.
Our Services

- For Industry Professionals: Intensive exchange between Berlin-based artists and international experts, fostering knowledge transfer and long-term collaboration.
- Trade Fair Visits: Visits to international shared trade fair stands to open new markets and make your work accessible to international and cross-regional audiences.
- Delegation Trips: Tailor-made trips allowing Berlin-based artists to present themselves at international festivals and within various artistic and cultural circles.
- Performing Arts Guide: Our annual guide provides a comprehensive overview of Berlin's independent performing arts scene — available in both print and online formats. - FAQ-Touring: The FAQ-Touring program shares knowledge from the Berlin Performing Arts Program on the topic of touring, helping artists and groups with international and cross-regional tour planning and answering frequently asked questions. FAQ-Touring is especially aimed at newcomers to the independent performing arts community.
